Company Ventures

Company Ventures states on its homepage that it is "a first check venture firm" that provides "founders daily access to a community of excellence, embedded in world class physical space", and that it "pioneered the Residency model with Grand Central Tech in 2014". Its stated current interest is "founders focused on building generational AI companies at the application and data infrastructure / model augmentation layers". It is more than an investor: alongside its funds it runs the Grand Central Tech Residency (four months full time, a $10K per month stipend, six to eight founders a year), the Boost Founder Fellowship, and, from February 2025, Terrarium, which the firm describes as an embedded healthcare incubation studio and which is separately incorporated as Terrarium Inc. and separately funded through Company Ventures Terrarium Fund I, LP. In a Tech:NYC interview its Managing Partner said the firm invests at pre-seed and seed and typically invests $1 million.
