Before Courtside he founded Krossover, a sports analytics company that provided video and data tools to teams around the world and helped establish the sports analytics industry; Krossover was sold to Stack Sports in 2017. Kulkarni holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and played junior varsity basketball there. Business Insider named him a top sports investor in 2023.
