Vani Kola is founder and managing director of Kalaari Capital. She earned a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Osmania University before moving to the United States in 1985 for a master's at Arizona State. She spent 22 years as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, founding and selling RightWorks and later founding Certus Software, then returned to India in 2006 to co-found what became Kalaari Capital.
