Todd Dagres co-founded Spark Capital in 2005 and is described on the firm's site as its co-founder and partner emeritus. At Spark he led investments in 1stdibs, Freight Farms, Jana, Kateeva, SiFive and Signpost, and earlier in Covestor and Verivue. Before Spark he was a general partner at Battery Ventures, where he led investments including Akamai Technologies, Arbor Networks, Qtera and XCOM, and earlier he was a senior technology analyst at Montgomery Securities, Smith Barney and the Yankee Group. He is co-founder and chairman of the venture philanthropy organization Power Launch, has taught as an adjunct professor at the MIT Sloan School of Business, and holds a B.S. in psychology from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
