Tim Guleri is a managing director of Sierra Ventures, which he joined in 2001 after a career as a serial enterprise-software entrepreneur. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College and an MS in robotics and industrial engineering from Virginia Tech. He built and sold Scopus Technology, which listed in 1995, and founded Octane Software, which merged into Epiphany. At Sierra he has taken two companies public: Sourcefire and MakeMyTrip.
