Biography

Ted Alling is a co-founder and Partner at Dynamo Ventures, the Chattanooga based pre-seed and seed supply chain fund. He co-founded Access America Transport, a third party logistics business that grew to roughly 500 million dollars in revenue and eventually merged with UPS subsidiary Coyote Logistics, and served as its CEO. He went on to co-found Lamp Post Group, the Chattanooga venture incubator from which Dynamo emerged. A Samford University alumnus, he was inducted into the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2016. In 2017 he founded Chattanooga Preparatory School, an all-boys public charter school, followed by a sister school in Knoxville.
