Biography

Taavet Hinrikus is a co-founder of Plural, the European early-stage fund launched in 2022. He started as the first employee of Skype in 2002 and spent seven years there before co-founding TransferWise, now Wise, which he began building in 2010 and launched in early 2011. Wise has more than 3,000 employees and went public in 2021 in the first direct listing in Europe. At Plural his listed investments include OLIX, CoMind, Teton and Starship Technologies.
