He spent twelve years at Goldman Sachs, where he was co-head of Global Internet Investment Banking and advised on more than $80 billion in equity and debt financings and strategic transactions for companies including Facebook, Google, Airbnb, Zillow, Palantir, Square and LinkedIn. He previously co-founded Sherpa Capital and the corporate innovation advisory firm Silicon Foundry, and was an early employee at LookSmart. He grew up in Indianapolis and taught himself to program at thirteen; his investments include Airbnb, Uber, Slack, Astra, Braintrust, Curology, IPSY and Rent the Runway.
