Biography

Robin Klein co-founded LocalGlobe in 2003 with his son Saul Klein, and his Phoenix Court bio states he has made over 100 investments in tech brands including Lovefilm, Wise, Citymapper, Moo, Zoopla, Robinhood, Monzo, Tide, Figma and Improbable. Before venture capital he built Berda Electric, which he sold at 29, and was Executive Chairman and CEO of Innovations Mail Order, sold to the Burton Group in 1985; the firm bio states Innovations conducted the first UK ecommerce transaction in May 1995. He was previously a Venture Partner at Index Ventures. His bio states that although he seldom leads investments now he advises the team and founders, and that he still sits on a few portfolio company boards including those of Adzuna and Moo.
