He is the founder of Kiko Ventures, the climate tech investment platform, and was previously Head of Cleantech at IP Group plc. He began his cleantech career around 2000 as a hydrogen and fuel cell scientist and later worked at the Carbon Trust. He is a materials scientist by training with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and founded a business based on a materials characterisation technique developed during his doctorate. Kembara lists Ceres Power, Hinge Health, Hysata and OxCCU among his investments.
