Biography

Rob Leclerc is a Partner and co-founder of AgFunder, the agrifood technology venture capital firm. He co-founded the company in 2013 and served as its CEO, initially launching AgFunder as an online platform connecting agriculture companies with investors before it developed into a venture capital investor in foodtech and agtech. He brings more than 15 years of qualitative and quantitative experience as a scientist and engineer, with academic training spanning philosophy, computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence and virtual robotics, and computational biology, including a PhD from Yale University. Before AgFunder he worked at SeedRock Agriculture, the agriculture venture co-founded by his AgFunder co-founder Michael Dean.
