Biography

Nicolás Szekasy co-founded Kaszek in 2011 with Hernán Kazah, after serving for a decade as chief financial officer of MercadoLibre, where he led the company's $333 million IPO in 2007. He graduated from Stanford Business School in 1991 and worked at PepsiCo before joining MercadoLibre, and he holds a degree in economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Outside the firm he chairs the board of LAVCA, sits on the board of Endeavor Global and is a trustee of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Forbes lists Nubank, QuintoAndar and Creditas among his portfolio holdings.
