Biography

Dame Natalie Massenet is Co-Founder and General Partner of Imaginary Ventures, the consumer focused venture firm she launched with Nick Brown in 2018; the firm closed a $500 million third fund in 2022, bringing assets under management to $1 billion. A former fashion journalist, she founded Net-a-Porter in 2000 and built it into a pioneering luxury e-commerce business valued at over $1 billion. She served as Chairman of the British Fashion Council and later as Non-Executive Co-Chairman of Farfetch, which she joined in 2017. She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2016.
