Biography

Matt Melymuka has spent his entire career on growth-stage software investing, starting as a technology investment banker on Piper Jaffray's Technology, Media & Telecom team before moving to Investor Growth Capital's B2B software investment team - where he met Phil Dur and Brian Mulvey, the two colleagues with whom he'd later found PeakSpan Capital in 2015. After refining their shared investment approach together at Investor Growth Capital and then Greycroft Partners' Growth Fund, the three co-founded PeakSpan around a specific bet: that applied AI B2B software companies scaling from roughly $3 million to $50 million in ARR needed a specialist partner, not a generalist growth fund. Melymuka has worked with more than 30 growth-stage software companies over 15-plus years at the firm, has been named to both Crain's and GrowthCap's 40 Under 40 lists, and leads PeakSpan's efforts in go-to-market and hospitality technology.
