Mark Grovic has been investing in high-growth companies since 1992, including early impact-investing work at Calvert Group decades before ESG became mainstream, and co-founded the Templeton Emerging Europe Fund before co-founding New Markets Venture Partners in 2003. The firm has stayed exclusively focused on education and workforce technology for more than two decades, generating over $3.3 billion in enterprise value and completing 21 realized exits, including PowerSchool's 2021 IPO and Galvanize's acquisition by K12. Grovic closed New Markets' oversubscribed fifth fund at over $160 million in 2023, and has also taught private equity for 18 years as a professor at the University of Maryland's R.H.
