Biography

Mark Boggett transitioned from public markets tech investing at YFM Equity Partners, Brewin Dolphin, and Williams de Broe into venture capital, co-founding Seraphim in 2016 with James Bruegger and Rob Desborough to launch the world's first VC fund dedicated exclusively to the commercial space sector. That first-mover conviction - betting that satellites would become as foundational to daily life as smartphones - produced a genuinely full-stack platform spanning early-stage venture funds, the Seraphim Space Accelerator (the largest VC-led program in the sector), and Seraphim Space Investment Trust, a growth-stage fund that itself completed a London Stock Exchange IPO in 2021. Under Boggett's leadership, Seraphim has backed more than 145 SpaceTech startups across 33 countries, including Spire Global, Arqit, and LeoLabs, with AUM exceeding $630 million and alumni companies collectively raising more than $12 billion.
