In an oral history published by Shenzhen News in August 2021 he says he left Baoan Group at the end of 1996, joined the company his wife had founded and turned to venture capital, co-founding 深港产学研创业投资公司 with self-raised capital, and that in 2007 they created 深圳松禾创业投资有限公司 using the new 松禾 brand. The same account records the establishment of the 深圳市松禾成长关爱基金会 charitable foundation in 2010. Securities Times named him as 创始合伙人 at the firm's 2023 annual meeting, and Sina Finance interviewed him in that role in November 2025, when the firm's stated focus was digital technology centred on artificial intelligence, precision medicine centred on gene testing, and innovative materials. No education or further employment history could be verified from an acceptable source, and no specific investment could be tied to him individually rather than to the firm.
