He is also a Partner at Harmonix Fund, where he specializes in life sciences, healthcare and deep technology, and he has sourced or led diligence on more than 30 early-stage investments including Insilico Medicine, Bit.Bio, Caresyntax and Rad AI. He has held board positions at Sorcero, xCures and Precipoint, and advises Nucleate and the National Venture Capital Association. Earlier he was a researcher at Harvard's Belfer Center and at MIT, and trained under Nobel Laureate Michael Kremer on USAID's Development Innovation Ventures Fund. He has guest lectured in Tissue and Biochemical Engineering at Harvard and authored three books on applied engineering and medicine. He holds a DPhil and master's from Oxford, an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a master's in Biology from Harvard and a bachelor's from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
