Biography

Kevin Colleran was one of Facebook's first 10 employees, helping build the company's global sales strategy in its earliest years before leaving in 2011. He co-founded Slow Ventures with fellow early Facebook executive Dave Morin in 2009, initially as an informal way to pool personal angel investments alongside other Facebook alumni, before formalizing it into an institutional venture firm. That founding network of tech operators shaped Slow's distinctive limited-partner base - more than 100 technology founders, CEOs, and executives who commit to actively helping portfolio companies, not just university endowments and foundations. Colleran led Slow's early conviction bet on Coinbase years before its public listing, and the firm's patient, founder-first philosophy produced PillPack, which Amazon acquired for $753 million in 2018, alongside investments in Pinterest, Slack, and Postmates.
