Before Cleveland Avenue he was Chief Financial Officer of Ovation Brands (D/B/A Buffet Inc.) from July 2013 to August 2015, and Group Vice President, Controller and Corporate Officer of SUPERVALU Inc. between April 2011 and June 2013, where his firm bio says he was the financial lead on the $3.3B sale of SUPERVALU's underperforming retail grocery chains to the Cerberus Capital consortium. He spent 16 years at McDonald's in four executive management positions, including responsibility for Worldwide Financial Reporting, Strategy and Corporate Development at the time McDonald's acquired Chipotle, CFO of Latin America, and Controller of McDonald's USA. He began his career at Ernst and Young in Chicago, where he spent eleven years, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Cleveland Avenue's October 2023 Schedule 13D on Presto Automation Inc. describes him as a director of that company; Presto Automation deregistered its securities on 19 September 2024, so that seat is not recorded as current. His firm bio says he maintains several board positions on businesses within the Cleveland Avenue investment portfolio but does not name them.
