He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where Texas Monthly reports he took a computer science degree and Fortune reports he created an email marketing business, and moved to Austin in 1996 to work as a software developer at Trilogy. Texas Monthly reports he started two technology companies, URaPI and Netmonitor, in the early 2000s before founding Capital Factory. He was the named quote in Capital Factory's own announcements of the Center for Autonomous Robotics (2022), the Center for Health Innovation in Dallas (2022), Fed Supernova (2021, 2025), the NightDragon partnership (2025), STATION TEXAS (2025), STATION NWA (2026) and STATION Austin (2026). He was named in the Form D of Capital Factory Partners 2023, L.P. as a Director and Manager of the General Partner of the issuer. He died on the night of 16 June 2026 at the age of 50 in a plane crash near Laredo, Texas.
