Biography

Jeff Horing co-founded Insight Partners in 1995 after working as a principal at Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus, building the firm around a then-contrarian thesis: software, not hardware, was the best business in the world. In the firm's earliest years, Horing and his co-founder famously sourced deals by manually reading trade publications for growing software companies - an outbound, research-driven approach that still defines Insight's culture. Over three decades, he has led investments in more than 140 companies and personally led the firm to public exits including Wix, Shutterstock, Alteryx, JFrog, and nCino. He currently chairs the board of monday.com and sits on the boards of Wiz, JFrog, and Alteryx.
