Jean Bourcereau is chairman and managing partner of Ventech, which he joined in 2000. An engineering graduate of École Polytechnique with a further degree from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, he began his career at AT&T Bell Labs and Telecom Argentina before developing new business at Altran Group across semiconductors and IP networks. He became chairman when founding partner Alain Caffi retired at the firm's Fund VI close in September 2025.
