Biography

Jan-Dirk Lueders is a Co-Founder of CMT Digital and of the CMT Group. CMT Digital's own 'Meet the CMT Team' profile, published on the firm's Medium account under the title 'Partner & Co-Founder', states that he began at Star Division, a German software company later acquired by Sun Microsystems, interned at Chicago Research and Trading, went on to manage CRT's Frankfurt office, and co-founded CMT in March 1997 with Scott Casto. The same profile states he attended business school but left after his first semester, so no completed degree is recorded. He is named as an executive officer of CMT Digital Ventures Fund IV LLC in the fund's SEC Form D/A of 6 May 2025. CMT Digital's team page shows him only as 'Jan-Dirk L.'
