Hermann Hauser is co-founder and a venture partner at Amadeus Capital Partners, launched with Anne Glover in 1997. Born in Vienna, he holds a PhD from King's College, Cambridge. He is best known for co-founding Acorn Computers in 1978, creator of the BBC Micro, and for helping spin ARM out of it in 1990. His Amadeus portfolio has included CSR plc, Solexa - acquired by Illumina for $600M - and Icera, acquired by Nvidia. He holds an honorary KBE for services to UK enterprise.
