Biography

Helen Ryan is an Operating Partner at Atlantic Bridge. Her Atlantic Bridge bio states that she was Chief Executive Officer of Creganna-Tactx Medical from 2005 until September 2013, that during her time as CEO the company grew five-fold, made three acquisitions, entered a strategic joint venture in Asia and raised debt and equity financing, and grew from 100 people at a single site in Galway to over 1,250 people across four sites in Ireland, the USA and Singapore. Before joining Creganna-Tactx in 2003 she worked at Medtronic and Tyco Healthcare, now Covidien, in product development and R&D functional management. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering from NUI Galway, a Masters in Project Management from the University of Limerick and has completed a Senior Executive Programme at Stanford University. She is a fellow of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland and a past Chair of the Irish Medical Devices Association.
