Biography

Geoff Yang spent 12 years as a General Partner at Institutional Venture Partners before co-founding Redpoint Ventures in 1999, bringing decades of experience backing consumer media and internet infrastructure companies from their earliest days. His investments include Juniper Networks, TiVo, Ask Jeeves, Excite, and MySpace, several of which went public during his tenure. Beyond Redpoint, Yang has served as a director of AT&T and currently sits on the boards of Warner Bros. Discovery and Franklin Templeton, alongside advisory roles at Princeton University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
