Biography

Florian Heinemann co-founded the Berlin-based venture fund Project A in 2012 and is listed by Forbes as a Founding Partner of the firm. He previously co-founded the online bookstore JustBooks, which Amazon later acquired, and joined Rocket Internet in 2007 as a Managing Director, where he helped build the fashion outlet Zalando and Global Fashion Group. Forbes states he is best known for his investments in the German stock broker Trade Republic, the drone maker Quantum Systems and the remittance platform Zepz, and that he sits on the boards of German companies including Koerber, Fiege and Holtzbrinck. He was appointed to the supervisory board of the listed travel company HomeToGo at its May 2025 annual general meeting, where he was described as Founding and General Partner of Project A Ventures.
