He studied molecular and computational biology at the University of Heidelberg, Harvard University, the University of Cambridge and Osaka University, and holds a PhD in Computational and Clinical Immunology from ETH Zurich. During his doctorate he co-founded Nucleate Switzerland, a student-led life science incubator. He then worked at Boston Consulting Group in the pharma and healthcare sector, advising on innovation strategy and technology acquisitions. At Redalpine he focuses on the intersection of biology, engineering and machine learning, and on helping founders commercialise scientific ideas.
