She joined Octopus Ventures as CEO in January 2025 and became CEO of Octopus Investments in September 2025. Before Octopus she spent nearly two decades at the institution now called HSBC Innovation Banking UK, formerly Silicon Valley Bank UK, where she was CEO, established the UK business as a standalone regulated subsidiary and led it through its 2023 sale to HSBC. She has held board seats at UK Finance and the ScaleUp Institute, and remains a UK Trustee at Founders Pledge, an advisory board member for London Tech Week and a member of the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce.
