Erik Torenberg co-founded Village Global in 2017 and is listed on the firm's team page as Partner Emeritus. He was the first employee at Product Hunt, founded Rapt.fm and Token Daily, and helped launch On Deck, the founder training program, while at Village Global. In April 2025 Andreessen Horowitz acquired Turpentine, the podcast network he created, and named him a General Partner. He holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Michigan.
