Ela Madej is a Founding Partner of Fifty Years, the San Francisco firm she co-founded in 2015 with fellow Y Combinator alum Seth Bannon. She started her first company, Applicake, a Ruby on Rails and later iOS and Android development shop based in Krakow, Poland, at the age of 21, and later co-founded Base, which was acquired by Zendesk.
