Dotun Olowoporoku is Managing Partner at Ventures Platform, the pan-African venture capital firm, which he joined as a Venture Partner in May 2022. Before Ventures Platform he was a Principal at Novastar Ventures and Chief Commercial Officer at TeamApt, now Moniepoint, where he served as a board observer from 2021 to 2022, and he was an investor and board observer at Turaco from 2020 to 2021. He holds a PhD in environmental management from the University of the West of England and has consulted for institutions including The World Bank Group as a mentor on XL Africa. He is the executive producer and host of the Building the Future podcast on African entrepreneurship and investment.
