Biography

Chris Arsenault arrived at Inovia Capital's founding in 2007 with more than a decade of operating experience already behind him, not a traditional finance background. He founded SIT Solutions in 1993, sold its European division to Ubizen in 1999, then spent years helping build Copernic Technologies and Wanted Technologies while also working inside the Telesystem Group, where he helped spin subsidiaries out of telecom giants Teleglobe and Microcell. He joined MSBi Capital in 2002 as its technology-focused partner, and when the firm relaunched as Inovia Capital in 2007, Arsenault became a co-founder shaping its culture and long-term platform strategy. That operator-first background is part of why Inovia frames itself as institution-building rather than opportunistic dealmaking - Arsenault has stayed closely involved with Lightspeed Commerce since its earliest days, sitting on its board through its 2019 IPO, alongside continued board seats at AppDirect and Poka.
