Biography

Chip Hazard co-founded Flybridge in May 2002 and is a General Partner at the firm. He is the longest-tenured non-founder member of MongoDB's board, which he joined in October 2009, and chairs its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Before Flybridge he was a General Partner at Greylock, which he joined in 1994, and earlier worked at Company Assistance Limited and Bain and Company. He co-founded XFactor Ventures, a Flybridge-backed fund investing in companies with at least one female founder. He holds a B.A. from Stanford and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker and Ford Scholar.
