Barend Van den Brande is founder and general partner of Hummingbird Ventures. Belgian-born, he began his career as an analyst at SG Cowen in Boston before returning to Belgium to raise his first fund, Big Bang Ventures, in 2001, and founding Hummingbird in 2010.
