Biography

Aydin Senkut was Google's first product manager, helping launch the company's first ten international sites, before founding Felicis in 2006. Often described as one of the original 'super angels,' Senkut built a reputation for spotting non-consensus founders early and scaling that instinct into a full multi-stage investment platform - backing Shopify, Credit Karma, Canva, Fitbit, and Guardant Health among more than 50 unicorns and over 125 exits. Felicis closed its $825 million Fund IX in 2023, bringing total assets under management to $3 billion, and followed with a $900 million Fund X in 2025 - the firm's largest fund yet, closed on Senkut's 19th anniversary as an institutional investor. He frames Felicis's approach around measurement, instrumentation, and backing founders who are 'brave' enough to build before consensus forms, with every first check contractually barred from voting against the founder.
