Biography

Anthony Lin spent 12 years in corporate finance, M&A, and private equity - at Banc of America Securities, ASAT, Merrill Lynch, and PaineWebber - before joining Intel in 2008, initially overseeing the company's own mergers, acquisitions, and international equity investments. He moved into Intel Capital and was named interim head in 2020 after Wendell Brooks' departure, taking the role permanently in February 2021. As a voting member of Intel Capital's investment committee, Lin now oversees all of the unit's equity investment activity, organized around four domains he's helped define - Cloud, Devices, Frontier, and Silicon - with 2023 alone seeing more than $350 million deployed across 30 new investments spanning AI infrastructure, robotics, and translation technology. He currently sits on the boards of SambaNova Systems, Syntiant, Articul8.AI, and RealSense.
