Biography

Annie Lamont spent 28 years at Oak Investment Partners, rising to Managing Partner and leading its healthcare and fintech practices, before co-founding Oak HC/FT in 2014 with Andrew Adams and Patricia Kemp to apply decades of combined experience exclusively to those two multi-trillion-dollar markets. That singular focus, rare among generalist growth-equity firms, produced early bets on athenahealth, One Medical, Devoted Health, and Oscar Health, and Lamont has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List, Modern Healthcare's 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, and Institutional Investor's FinTech Finance 40. She serves on the board of HCA Healthcare and previously served on Stanford's Board of Trustees, and was the inaugural recipient of the NVCA's award for Excellence in Healthcare Innovation.
