Biography

Andre de Haes is co-founder and general partner of Backed VC. He read philosophy and modern languages at Oxford before an MBA at Stanford. His pre-venture career included investment banking at Goldman Sachs, consulting at McKinsey and a summer associate role at Andreessen Horowitz. He co-founded Backed VC with Alex Brunicki in 2016, raising its first fund at the age of 27.
