Spacecadet is a hybrid of an early-stage venture fund and a marketing practice, branding itself as 'The Marketing VC' with the tagline 'We Bring Startups Stardom' (the firm's own claims). Its fund page describes a $15 million Pre/Seed fund; its mission page says it invests $100-500K at pre-seed and seed across space, AI, bio, energy and robotics, and that the money comes with marketing work, including 'story sprints that boost growth, hiring, raising, and exit value'. It also runs a 'Collective' membership model in which limited partners, founders, scouts and other contributors share 5% of carry. BetaKit described it in April 2022 as operating as both a venture fund and a marketing advisor. Its crew page separately lists backers including Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, Alexis Ohanian and Stewart Butterfield.
