さくらキャピタル株式会社 is established in March 1992 by transferring the venture capital businesses of 三井ファイナンスサービス and 太陽神戸抵当証券; it is the earliest predecessor in the present company's lineage.
2001
さくらキャピタル merges 住銀インベストメント株式会社 in April 2001 and changes its name to SMBCキャピタル株式会社.
2005
エヌ・アイ・エフ ベンチャーズ absorbs SMBCキャピタル on 1 October 2005 and the combined company is renamed エヌ・アイ・エフSMBCベンチャーズ株式会社. The firm's own 会社概要 gives its 設立 as 2005年9月22日.
