Rise of the Rest Seed Fund

David Hall joined Revolution in 2006 and worked across both Revolution Growth and Revolution Ventures before taking on leadership of the Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, a $150 million vehicle built around one of the clearest geography-led theses in venture capital: back high-growth startups outside Silicon Valley, Boston, and New York, and use Revolution's platform and brand to strengthen local ecosystems. The fund made its first-ever investment in Anduril at seed, years before the company became a major defense-technology player, and AppHarvest became Rise of the Rest's first publicly traded portfolio company, though it is no longer independently traded today.
