OIF Ventures

OIF Ventures is an Australian venture capital firm founded in 2016 by Geoff Levy, David Shein and Jerry Stesel, and based in Sydney. Its approach page states: "We typically invest at the Seed, Pre-Series A and Series A stages through our earlier stage funds. We also invest in companies at the Series B stage through our later stage fund." On sector it states: "We are sector and technology agnostic and look to invest in exceptional founders building companies in large markets with a competitive advantage and tailwinds", and separately: "We have invested in founders leading businesses in B2B SaaS, FinTech, digital marketplaces and even hardware across industries like cyber security, construction tech, HR tech, FinTech, defense and even a D2C digital-first cremation business." The sectors array above is drawn from that sentence and should be read alongside the firm's own agnostic statement rather than as a stated thesis restriction. On geography the firm says: "We will actively work with you to expand internationally, taking advantage of our strong US network", and describes actively working with founders to expand to the US and secure their next round of capital from US venture firms. The firm has raised four funds: three early-stage funds and a later-stage Opportunity Fund launched in 2023.
