NGC Ventures

NGC Ventures describes itself on its own site as an early stage venture fund that has invested in web 3.0 infrastructure startups and projects since 2017, backing teams building the next generation of decentralised technologies and looking for ventures that address blockchain challenges with new solutions. It says its team includes seasoned entrepreneurs and fund managers as well as, in its own word, degens of the blockchain space, and that it offers portfolio companies expertise in token design and go to market strategy. Rather than a single headquarters the About page says team members are present in Singapore, San Francisco, California, Texas, London, Shanghai and Taipei. The firm's own portfolio page groups investments under fourteen headings including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchains (L1s, L2s), Data-related, Decentralized Computing, DeFi, DePin, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Intent, Metaverse, Multichain / Interchain, Storage, Tooling and SDKs, and Wallet and related. It also runs a staking and validating service called NGC StakeX.
