Latitud Ventures is the venture capital vehicle of Latitud, a Latin American technology entrepreneurship platform founded in 2020 by Brian Requarth, Gina Gotthilf and Yuri Danilchenko. The fund invests at pre-seed across Latin America and states it is comfortable leading a pre-seed round, investing alongside angel investors or even before them. Its published First Round Manifesto states an average check size of USD 200K targeting a 5 percent ownership stake, and says that although the fund is sector agnostic it tends to have a bias towards fintech, vertical SaaS, healthtech, marketplaces, e-commerce enablers and proptech. The Fund II announcement states an intention to lead roughly 40 pre-seed rounds over three years with checks of about USD 250K and to co-invest in roughly 20 seed rounds, with particular focus on Brazil and Mexico. Latitud separately runs the Latitud Fellowship, an eight-week remote plus one-week San Francisco programme, and Latitud the company has operated other product lines including Latitud Go (incorporation and back office) and Meridian by Latitud (fintech). Forbes Chile reported in April 2024 that Latitud Ventures operates separately from Latitud the company.
