Eight Roads is the investment arm associated with Fidelity rather than an independent partnership. Its own About page says "Eight Roads has one of the largest venture platforms in the world, with $8 billion of assets under management and teams investing across Asia, Europe, Israel and the US", that it has been investing since 1969 when it operated as Fidelity Ventures, and that "our Fidelity backing allows us to be more focused and flexible when it comes to supporting our portfolio companies". The Chinese-language version of the same page says the firm is backed by the Fidelity group. It states it partners with technology and healthcare founders. Its own portfolio filters are Consumer, Consumer Health, Enterprise, Fintech, Healthcare IT, Healthcare Services, Med Tech and Pharma & Therapeutics, and its own team and portfolio filters cover four investing regions: China, Europe & Israel, India and Japan. The US is covered by a separate sister fund, F-Prime Capital, which the Eight Roads site links to as "our sister fund". The firm's homepage states 350+ portfolio companies globally and 35+ IPOs.
$5B+ (the firm's own homepage figure, checked 2026; its About page states "$8 billion of assets under management" on the same date - the two first-party figures conflict and are not reconciled here, so the lower is taken) AUM75/100 Power Score™1969 Founded
