Acequia Capital is an early-stage global technology investor. Its own About page states: "Founded in 2010 by Microsoft senior executive, Hank Vigil, we have invested in more than 350 technology companies and have achieved more than a decade of consistent, top quartile returns." The homepage describes the firm as an early-stage investment platform sitting "at the center of a global ecosystem that attracts and fuels the technical founders and product teams building the next wave of global businesses", and the About page emphasises operating help on product roadmap and technology strategy alongside capital. The team is organised into a deal team, a finance and operations group, and a set of venture partners covering new industrials, intelligence and defense, onshoring and energy policy, and media. In September 2023 the firm published a two-part statement of its New Industrials strategy for what it calls the reindustrial age. Its SEC filings show it operating both single-company vehicles and pooled funds, including an SBIC-designated fund, from Seattle.
