Todd Goldberg founded Eventjoy, an event ticketing startup acquired by Ticketmaster. He co-founded and co-runs Todd & Rahul Capital, an angel investing vehicle, with Rahul Vohra, founder of Superhuman and Rapportive; both are Y Combinator alumni. The vehicle states it has invested over $50 million into more than 120 startups, writes $300k-$500k cheques, and is backed by more than 150 founders, operators and investors. It closed a $24 million fund in 2021, planning to put roughly three-quarters into early-stage deals and reserve a quarter for later-stage opportunities. Goldberg has said of the approach, 'You never want to be a passive check.'
