Angel investor in early-stage health tech companies
Pam Garside is an angel investor in early-stage health tech companies and a Fellow of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. She read Zoology at Durham, completed NHS graduate management training and took a Master's in Hospital and Health Care Administration at the University of Minnesota before a career in health care systems and digital health in the UK and internationally. She is the founder and co-chair of The Cambridge Health Network, a member of the Investment Committee of Cambridge Enterprise, and a board member of Crown Place Venture Capital Trust. She was recruited to Cambridge Angels in 2016 by the then chair Simon Thorpe, later became the group's first female chair, and now sits on its board. Her first investment came when an Australian company gave her equity in lieu of fees, and she has since backed UK health tech and AI companies including Accurx and Kalium Health.
